This article describes use of video by an NGO to help local people share their ideas with one another, through reporting and forum theatre. The footage is also used as an archive, to help villagers to reflect on their vision and changing needs, enabling them to recall ideas and highlight priorities and challenges. The article concludes that video makes information more accessible than that produced in fieldworker reports.

This article reports on the FARMESA Project in Zimbabwe. A group of farm workers were given basic video training and equipment with the aim of facilitating exchange between them and other farmers and to enable them to have influence with researchers and policy makers.

Article on how authoratitive arguments made by local people can be transmitted through video. Maasai men record a film stating that local residents are best equipped to undertake environmental conservation. International bodies and conservation authorities try to stop distribution of the video, because their report tells a story different to that told by the Maasai. They try to discredit the video. The article concludes that project coalitions can use video to get involved in local processes of negotiation.

This article argues that theatre has featured highly in the tool kit of PRA yet there are many other forms of creative art which could be utilised, including dance, story telling, poetry and creative play. The article suggests that these other tools should be considered alongside theatre and the appropriate one selected according to the cultural environment and objectives of the exercise.
