Le Diagnostic Rapide du Milieu Rural: Approche Bibliographique
1987
The Approach Development method evolved from the need to do something practical under the complex conditions of rural reality which traditional approaches have ignored. Farming families are viewed as the main actors, and encouraged and assisted in identifying and formulating their problems enabling them to find their own solutions. A short description of other methods, Farming Systems Research (FSR) and Farmer First and Last (FFL), are made in order to compare them with AD.
Participants in this symposium consider how evaluators can better provide credible and generalizable information about the effects of increasingly complex interventions.
