Handbook on Land Use Mapping Resources and Sketch Mapping Techniques for Bangladesh
This handbook is a follow-up product of a workshop held in Dhaka. The workshop objectives were to train in the use of mapping resources and techniques, and to facilitate networking among attending institutions. The handbook is designed to document the workshop learning process, and mapping resources and techniques, and to serve as a resource for future training in land use mapping. The first section contains details of organisations in Bangladesh which undertake mapping, technical aspects of cartography, different types of maps and techniques for mapping.
