Learning participation: the case of PROSODE, Peru
This paper is about a Social Outreach of Law course (Proyeccion Social del Derecho û PROSODE) at the Law Faculty of the Catholic University in Peru. The course has two objectives: to help poor people access to justice, and to involve students in a different perspective of law - as a service for the people. The paper describes PROSODE's work, focusing on the second objective. It details the programmes and its methodology. It includes reflection on what worked for PROSODE and what didn't and has a discussion of behaviour and attitudes.
