Nuturing a community-based response
Since the first AIDS cases were recognized at the start of the 1980s, Actionaid have been working in the areas of HIV/AIDS prevention, support and care for affected individuals and families. This document reports on the work of ActionAid and its partners in 1998. The first section examines how Actionaid's HIV/AIDS programmes have evolved. The second section looks at the global spread of the epidemic.
