The Use of RRA Interview Schedules within a Collaborative Research Project in Northern Thailand

This paper discusses the design and use of interview schedules in an investigation of the reasons for the success and failure of paddy farmer groups (PFGs) in northern Thailand. The interview schedules were used in Phase II of a research project, where questionnaire surveys had been used in Phase I and found to be problematic. The reasons for choosing this method are explained. The contents of the interview schedules are given and some results presented.
