A Report of the Workshop on Capacity Building of the Share Cropper Women of Mahila Vigyan Kendra.

This account of the workshop held to foster the development of group building activities and improve organisation practice in the MVK project, reviews the aims, experiences, and tools of participation, makes an assessment regarding its success in achieving its aims, and notes the after-effects. Project participantsÆ views on the gender division of labour and resource access, on organisation problems and felt needs, and on the tools (pictorial) used in the workshop were noted. A survey was developed to plan according to project membersÆ needs, and conducted successfully.
