Describes a PRA workshop organised by World Vision in Zambia in 1993. The first part of the report describes the theoretical introduction to PRA which focused on the underlying philosophy and the importance of behaviour and attitudes of facilitators. It also describes the different PRA techniques and their purpose. For the practical part of the workshop the participants split into five groups and visited different project areas. The second part reports on the techniques used and findings of the field visits. The third part consists of participants' reflections on the PRA experiences.
