PRA in a nutshell

This article is the first of a special edition on PRA, and follows an editorial introduction to PRA. Here, an overview of the background is given, including the principles (behaviour and attitudes, methods and visual sharing) and main features of PRA. These include triangulation, multidisciplinary team creation, flexibility etc.. Some different techniques are briefly outlined. It concludes with a discussion of the dangers of PRA.
