Planning for Change: participatory rural appraisal for community based development

This report summarises the process, outcome and follow up of a 1992 PRA training and fieldwork with people of Matiltan village aimed at creating village action plans. "Since the PRA, the project has worked closely with the local people, assistng them in creating and strengthening their own village organizations and implementing some of the priority activities identified in their VAPs. In addition the project has gone on to facilitate two more PRAs for village development planning."
