The first sections of this manual present the basic concepts behind participatory adult education, examining the way in which adults learn and the training cycle. Important issues in livestock and agricultural training are covered, including gender, traditional knowledge and good commnunication and group work. Many training tools are described and an example given of each from a real situation.
