Development of a participatory action enquiry into the incidence of leukaemias and related cancers in Newbury

This paper starts with the authors self reflection on how she arrived at the methodology used in this study. She describes the initiation of the study, prompted by leukaemia in her own family, the holistic nature of the research and the methodology that was used. She finishes by looking at the wider issues raised including critical epidemiology, women's ways of knowing, access to information and environmental concerns.
