A short email giving feedback on the IDS Working Paper by Mick Moore, Madhulika Choudhary and Neelam Singh. The writer of the email sees the paper as contributing to the much needed understanding of Ill Being/Poverty by development workers. It goes on to comment on various aspects of the paper, applauding the work on words and concepts, dimensions of ill-being and the effects of words used, but suggesting that the recognition of PRA and it's goals being fundamentally different from other forms of research has been omitted. Finally some comments about concluding statements and ethical issues are made.
