This note highlights the impact of PRA on staff motivation which on its own could be a good incentive for the managers to try out PRA in their organisations. In an organisation practising PRA, it is field staff who are directly involved in planning, implementing and evaluating programmes and who are in direct contact with the beneficiaries. Increasing responsibility in the organisation's activity along with the opportunity to work in a team and share experiences openly with other colleagues positively affects staff motivation.
