Three approaches to participative inquiry

This chapter deals with three approaches to research, co-operative inquiry, participatory action research and action inquiry. Each approach is taken separately and the underlying assumptions and practice is set out. The text recognises that these are three separate traditions and then explores some of the similarities and differences among the three approaches, making critical comparisons. The author "attempts to show how the three approaches complement each other, so that together they stand as the begining of a robust paradigm of research with people".
