The Village Picture Book Methodology: A PRA Tool for Confidence Building
This is a poster on how the village picture book was used as a methodology to build confidence among villagers in Burkina Faso. The idea was to provide villagers with the opportunity to make their own village picture book as a way of avoiding the typical uni -directional researcher-respondent situation. The picture book was made in four sections. The first meeting was to inform the villagers about the mission of the researchers, while the second was to meet the photographers who took researchers round the villages to show them key places and people.
