Causes, consequences, and solutions
Good advocacy strategies are here defined as those which are focussed and linked to a clear policy/political solution. However, prioritising issues from among many urgent problems is not easy. This article puts forward a framework to help analyse problems by making the links between cause, effects and solutions. It suggests that mapping these links is a good way to begin analysis as it produces a comprehensive map of the problem. It uses two problems corruption, and poor primary healthcare as examples.
