Nothing is permanent but change: Workshop proceeding on Participatory Approach and methodology

This booklet details the workshop proceedings on Participatory Approaches and Methodologies held in Biratnagar.

It is written in English with some Hindi and covers the main points of PRA, including its emergence into the mainstream, how it is useful and effective in the field, how it can be used in poverty assessments, who it aims to serve and empower, as well as summarising the challenges for PRA.. The booklet also provides a few group exercises that may be used, and then goes on to briefly evaluate the workshop.

[Report of] National workshop on Network Management in Nepal, 23-25 November, 2000

This document presents the proceedings from the three-day National Workshop on Network management organised by the Eastern Region Participatory Action Network (ERPAN) in collaboration with the Institute of Development Studies (IDS), under the Pathways to Participation project. The main objectives of the workshop were to exchange ideas and practices of network management existing in national and international contexts, and to formulate future strategies.

Annual report 1999

This is the Annual Report (1999) of the Eastern Region Participatory Action Network (ERPAN), a networking, membership-based organisation based in Nepal. ERPAN is being developed as a common forum where different organisations and individuals engaged in the field of development based in the region interact and exchange their learning, experiences, ideas and thoughts on development initiatives. The report discusses the activities carried out during the year, in terms of workshops, training and sharing meetings.
