Scaling up the impact of development work in the Philippines : a review of accomplishments (1991-1997)
In this review, the networking activities and coalition building abilities of CODE -NGO, a broad coalition of ten major NGO networks involved in development work, are assessed. The review provides a brief glimpse of the immediate post-Marcos era when the Philippines witnessed a rapid growth of NGOs and which also saw the NGO community being wracked by internal dissension and conflict.
